Quiet Questions

Answers nobody asked for, mostly.

Will the free tier disappear?
No. The free tier is forever. The Reader tiers are how we keep the lights on, and many writers will only ever use the workspace. That is fine — the workspace alone is a complete product.
What providers does Studio support?
Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), Google (Gemini), and any local endpoint that speaks the OpenAI-compatible API (Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp). Pick one as your default and switch any time.
What counts as fair use on Pro?
Roughly the equivalent of running pacing + plot reads daily and ~30 character voice turns per day on a novel-length project. If you cross that, we email you and figure it out together. No automatic throttling.
Can I switch tiers anytime?
Yes, monthly. Switching down does not remove access mid-cycle; you keep what you paid for until the period ends.
Does DraftProse write the manuscript for me?
No. The Reader reads. It does not generate prose for the page. If you want a chatbot to draft sentences for you, use ChatGPT — that is the line we will not cross.
